Have you attended a Soup, Salad and a Story event? This is a favorite event for women's ministry to come together in the winter months.  For the last event of the season there's a twist; rather than soups and salads, we will be sharing sweet treats and salty snacks while listening to a personal story of what  God has done in the life of one of our sisters in Christ.  Not only is this a great way to get to know other women in the church; it's a great opportunity to bring a friend!
**Please note: when you register you have the option to select how many are attending. If you are able, you may also choose a way to serve through set up, tear down, or bringing food.**

This past weekend Sparta Church hosted the EFCA East District men's Sharpen conference. Over 300 men from our church and fellow east-coast EFCA churches gathered on Saturday for a time of fellowship and sharpening of their faith. District Superintendents Cedric Brown and Tony Balsamo encouraged us to live out our faith at home and in the workplace, and the Sparta Church worship team led us in worship. We are thankful for this time of edification and fellowship. Thank you to all who volunteered to make this day possible!

Join the Breakaway Day Camp team of counselors and staff for a fun and Christ-filled summer!
 Counselors must be 16 years or older.  
We are also looking for adult volunteer teachers and assistants to teach Bible classes.

Manna House has a monthly spaghetti dinner fundraiser every second Tuesday of the month. Our church is responsible for providing people to serve in the kitchen. Our next serving date is March10th. The following tasks are needed to be done:

• 1PM to 3 PM: Assist the chef with preparing the sauce. Cut vegetables, open cans etc.
• 3 PM to 7 PM:  Kitchen crew needed to prepare salads and bread, cook spaghetti (heavy pots of boiling water from 4 PM), set up take-out dinner containers and serve dinners.
• 4 PM to 7 PM: Dishwashers.

Some tasks overlap and if you are available to be there from 3 PM to 7 PM, that would be great.

Additional Tuesday spaghetti dinners are on the following dates: April 14, May 12, June 9, July 14, August 11, September 8, October 13, None in November, December 8.

We are looking for individuals who can set up chairs in our worship center and in classrooms.  If you're interested in working 2-3 hours at the church on the weekends,
