Study Questions

1.    What is the significance of God’s name, ‘Elohim’? (Masculine/Plural)

See Genesis 1:1.

2.    Read Colossians 1:16-17. Which person of the Godhead is named as the Creator?

3.    Read Psalm 8. What does the Psalmist reflect on that causes him to worship God the Creator?

4.    What evidences do you see around you that give proof of Elohim?

See Romans 1:20.

5.    Read Acts 17:24-27. How do Luke’s words confirm the truth that God is Creator? 

6.    In Psalm 8:4-6, the Psalmist poetically asks a rhetorical question. What is it and why do you suppose he is asking it?

7.    Have you ever wondered why God created you the way you are:  personality, talents, weaknesses, gifts, limitations, strengths, characteristics, etc.? 

8.    What was God’s answer to Moses’ excuse for not feeling adequate to be used by God? See Exodus 4:10-13 and 1 Corinthians 1:26-29. Do I have the right question to my adequacy for what He calls me to? See Isaiah 43:7; Romans 9:20-21.

9.     What is the biggest way God showed His care for His creation?
