Hello families and supporters of our Wilkes-Barre Mission Team!

We have gotten some updates about the past couple of days at our Youth Missions Trip Training at Touch the World!

On Day 1, students spent time participating in team-building activities, learning what missions truly means, and discovering that a missions trip is about far more then just the work we do- it's about joining in what God is already doing and encouraging one another to continue His work long after the trip is over.

Yesterday,  they experienced a "$2 Day" a poverty simulation designed to help students better understand some of the daily realities that many people around the world face. It sparked thoughtful conversations and challenged everyone to see the world with greater compassion. Throughout the day, students also practiced communication with one another and shared their "Kairos" moments- times when they recognized God at work in meaningful ways.

Thank you for continuing to pray for our students and leaders as they learn, grown, and prepare of the week ahead. We can't wait to share more updates with you!
