Serving together is a great way  to show our kids how to follow Jesus. If you're looking for a way to serve as a family, consider serving as Greeters on Sunday morning! Greeters simply open the doors and greet people on Sunday mornings.  Your family couls serve at 9am or 10:30 service. Greeters beging opening the door 15 minutes before service and stay at the doors to greet until 15 minutes after the service starts.
Have you heard?!? Our Toddler classroom is BACK this Fall!

Starting September 13th, we will be restarting our 2-3 year old classroom for both 9:00 and 10:30 service. During this time, your toddler will play, hear a Bible story, do an activity, sing songs and be loved on by our wonderful Toddler Team.

Love working with babies or  2-3 year olds? We need more helping hands to our Nursery and Toddler Room!

Mark your calendars! It's almost time to begin packing Operation Christmas child shoe boxes. This is a great project to do as a family with your kids. You also could join us at our annual "packing party". At the packing party, we take time to decorate shoe boxes and learn more about the kids who will receive them. Then, kids will fill box for a child of the age and gender of their choosing.

This Sunday at 4REAL Worship

Welcome! In October, school is well underway, and kids are facing down big things: tests and homework. Sports competitions. Finding their place in friend groups. Maybe even standing up to a bully. This world can be a dark place, and kids already know that. G.K. Chesterton, who wrote both Christian apologetics and fiction, once said, “Fairy tales do not tell children the dragons exist. Children already know that dragons exist. Fairy tales tell children dragons can be killed.” Every good story is a reflection of the one true story, God’s Story, which affirms for kids and adults alike that we’re in a war—but that the battle has already been won. In the end, our enemy’s defeat is certain! This month, we want to equip kids to understand that no matter what they face, God is fighting with them and for them. Jesus wins! And in the end, everything will be made right, even if it’s not our timeline. With this truth in mind, we can always find strength and courage in God! Our theme for the month helps kids discover THE SAFE PLACE: God is stronger than anyone or anything.

A Gold Statue and a Blazing Furnace -
Week 2 brings us to the story of Daniel’s friends, Shadrach, Meschach and Abednego. All officials in the region are ordered to worship a gigantic golden statue, and the penalty for those who refuse is a quick trip into a blazing hot furnace. When Daniel’s friends defy the king’s order, they’re tossed into the flames. But instead of meeting a quick end… they meet Someone unexpected. This week's Bottom Line, "God is with me, so I can stand for what’s true."

Rhythms to Grow Spiritually this Fall

While we can truly enjoy the rest of Summer, many of us are missing the routine and structure that Fall often brings. If you're needing some ideas on creating healthy rhythms for your family, give this podcast from Rebekah Lyons and Justin Earl Whitley a listen: both are Christian writers who have written recently about the importance of rhythyms in our homes and for our spiritual growth. The conversation starts at the 7:40 minute mark.
