This Sunday at 4REAL Worship

In September, school and schedules take off like a bullet train. That’s why it’s so vital for all of us to learn how to pause, take a deep breath, and tune our hearts to Hear from God. Our faith is living and active. We serve a God who wants to speak to us and who designed us to hear from Him every day! For many of us, though, hearing from God feels complicated. Where do I start? How do I know if it’s God or my own thoughts? God loves when we ask those questions—and we’re excited to help kids ask those questions, too, as we explore FREQUENCY - Learning to hear from God. The story of Samuel shows you don’t have to wait until you are older to hear from God! Our world is so full of noise and anxiety that learning to hear God’s voice is vital. It’s a rescue. When kids learn to stay close to Jesus and hear directly from God that they are loved and valuable, they can walk through a chaotic world with a growing peace and confidence.

How to Read the Bible - This lesson explores how the best way to listen for God’s voice is to read His Word. We discover how Scripture is God-breathed and valuable for every part of life. We’ll land the week with a fly over of what the Bible is—and isn’t—as well as a quick tour through the different parts of God’s Word. This week's Bottom Line, "I can learn to know God through the Bible."

CORE Classes Resume September 13th!

Children's CORE classes are for ages 4 years old to 5th grade. Offered during our 9am Worship Service, CORE classes are meant to teach our kids the truths found in Scripture. They will be reading the Bible and memorizing Scripture. All ages follow the Answers in Genesis Curriculum and are synchronized (meaning your 5 year old and your 10-year-old will be covering the same portion of the Bible each week).

CORE age groups and locations:
PreK (4-5 years old): Room 304
Kindergarten/1st Grade: Room 303
2nd/3rd Grade: Room 306
4th/5th Grade: Multipurpose Room

Nursery And Toddler

Have you heard?!? Our Toddler classroom is BACK this Fall!

Starting September 13th, we will be restarting our 2-3 year old classroom for both 9:00 and 10:30 service. During this time, your toddler will play, hear a Bible story, do an activity, sing songs and be loved on by our wonderful Toddler Team.

Love working with babies or  2-3 year olds? We need more helping hands to our Nursery and Toddler Room! Email [email protected] for more info!

Rhythms to Grow Spiritually this Fall

While we can truly enjoy the rest of Summer, many of us are missing the routine and structure that Fall often brings. If you're needing some ideas on creating healthy rhythms for your family, give this podcast from Rebekah Lyons and Justin Earl Whitley a listen: both are Christian writers who have written recently about the importance of rhythyms in our homes and for our spiritual growth. The conversation starts at the 7:40 minute mark.
