Sparta Church will be hosting the Healthy Kids Running Series this Spring. HKRS is a five-week program that aims to engage communities and families by providing a youth running experience, inspiring kids, ages 2-14 years old, to believe in themselves and lead an active healthy lifestyle. We are excited to open up our beautiful church property to our church family and the community for 5 fun-filled kids races!

Come join for a 3 day long apologetics conference hosted by our church May 1-3.
The goal is to equip every believer to have confidence in their faith and defend it to those around them.
The conference will consist of fellowship, sessions and break out groups! Available for ages 12-100

Registration for Breakaway Day Camp IS NOW OPEN! Camp is open to children 6-12 years old with a counselor in training (CIT) program available for teens ages 13-15 years old. Don't miss your chance to secure a spot for a summer full of Jesus, fun, friendship, and unforgettable memories!

We are excited to launch this year’s annual Sparta Church Golf Classic, by Sparta Youth and proudly sponsored by TRS!
This event has been a much-enjoyed day for our community over the years, and we were thrilled to bring it back last year and to invite you to join us again this year!
This year, we are raising funds to renovate our space for youth here at Sparta Church
Over the last several years, we have seen a decline in "third spaces" for youth in many communities. Third spaces are physical locations besides the home and school or work where people can gather. Where teens in the past might gather at the mall or bowling alley, the current generation is increasingly finding community and connection through online devices instead of physical gathering places. Statistics show how this has significantly affected this next generation, leading to isolation and a surge in mental health struggles in teens. At Sparta Youth we are committed to creating a safe and healthy environment for youth in Sussex County to find community and support, and transforming our youth space so that it will serve hundreds of our community’s youth on a weekly basis. Your support at this event will invest significantly in the Youth of our community for many years to come! Thank you for your generous partnership in this goal!

Manna House, in Newton, has a monthly spaghetti dinner fundraiser every second Tuesday of the month. Our church is responsible for providing people to serve in the kitchen. Our next serving date is March10th. The following tasks are needed to be done:
Some tasks overlap and if you are available to be there from 3 PM to 7 PM, that would be great.
Additional Tuesday spaghetti dinners are on the following dates: May 12, June 9, July 14, August 11, September 8, October 13, None in November, December 8.
- 1PM to 3 PM: Assist the chef with preparing the sauce. Cut vegetables, open cans etc.
- 3 PM to 7 PM: Kitchen crew needed to prepare salads and bread, cook spaghetti (heavy pots of boiling water from 4 PM), set up take-out dinner containers and serve dinners.
- 4 PM to 7 PM: Dishwashers.
Some tasks overlap and if you are available to be there from 3 PM to 7 PM, that would be great.

We are still looking for staff and volunteers to join the Breakaway Day Camp team for a fun and Christ-filled summer!
