Shardz O' Clay Trap Shooting

Clay Pigeon Trap Shooting With a Mission

Come join us on select weekends on the back lot of the church property.

Over 10 years ago, we took advantage of our plentiful property and built a little trap-shooting field complete with  a concrete trap house with commercial thrower inside.   We have 5 trap stations, just like you'd see at a real trap field in competition environments. Our range officers are experienced in the field and keep a keen eye on safety.   We are proud of the fact that we've sponsored the shooting of more than 60,000 rounds over the years with ZERO safety issues.

If you've never shot with us before, when you arrive at the field, you'll be required to sit through a short safety orientation.  We want to make sure everyone's on the same page.  After that, we hold a short devotional.  At 10:00am we begin the first round of the day.   Rounds are done in rotations of 5 shots at 5 stations, and we hold as many rounds as people are willing to stay for.

(If you're new to trap shooting, this will be after you watch the first round with our safety officers.)

Come join us for great fellowship, trap shooting, and safe fun!

Cost: $20/round of trap (25 targets) shooting our ammo; $10/round of trap (25 targets) shooting your own ammo (#7 1/2 sporting clay shot only).
You can pay with cash or check upon arrival.

Stay tuned for our 2024 dates!

What are the Rules ?

SAFETY FIRST!  We have range safety officers on-site at all times during a shoot. Their word is final.
You may bring your own unloaded shotgun, 12 or 20 gauge. Don't own one?
Borrow one from our collection or another shooter's. There's always plenty to go around.

We have on-site parking at the field. Take the dirt road from the southeast corner of the church parking lot.

Ages: All ages are welcome. Children ages 14 and older can shoot if accompanied by an adult and when safety officers are comfortable with their presence. For insurance reasons, we cannot have kids under 14 shooting with us. Remember: SAFETY FIRST!
