1. How does Hebrews 11 relate to chapter 10?

2. How would you define faith? What are some different things in which people place their faith?

3. According to Hebrews 11:1 what does “assurance” mean, and what are the things for
which you hope? What does conviction mean, and what are the unseen things in which
we believe?

4. Of the various heroes listed in vs.1-22, which one do you relate to the most? Why?
What do they all have in common? (See verses 14-16.)

5. What does it mean for a believer to ‘walk by faith and not by sight’ (2 Corinthians 5:7)?
How does that display itself in your life currently?

6. What is the relationship between faith and perseverance?

7. If a fellow Christian came up to you and said, “I want to grow in my faith in God, how
can I do that…” what would you tell them?

8. What do we learn from verse 6? How can your faith grow stronger? In what way is the
Lord asking you to display faith in Him this week?
