Ephesians 3:1-13

Study Questions

1.    Read Ephesians 3:1-7. How does Paul’s description of himself as a “prisoner for Christ Jesus” in verse 1 resonate with your understanding of the challenges and sacrifices of following Christ in today’s world?

2.    Paul speaks of the stewardship of God’s grace given to him for the Gentiles. Describe what Paul’s calling was. How can we discern and fulfill our own God-given call in serving others, both believers and non-believers, in our communities?

3.    Read Ephesians 3:8-13. Verse 8 speaks of the “unsearchable riches of Christ.” What does this phrase mean, and how do you seek to uncover and appreciate these riches in your daily walk with Christ?

4.    Paul expresses boldness and confident access to Whom? (See verse 12, and also Ephesians 2:17-18.) How can we cultivate a similar confidence in prayer and communion with God, especially in times of difficulty or doubt?

5.    Consider verse 13, where Paul encourages believers not to lose heart because of his sufferings. How do you maintain perseverance and resilience in your faith journey, even in the face of challenges and opposition?
