Study Questions:


1. Read 1 John 3:1-3. What does this passage teach you about the Lord? How does He describeHis relationship with us?


2. Explain the significance of spiritual adoption and what God did in order for you to become His child. (See Galatians 4:4-6).


3. Focus on 1 John 3:2. Describe the implications of the future promises of being adopted into God’s family. (See also Phil. 3:21; 1 Corinthians 15:42-49).


4. Read 1 John 3:3. What are the obvious signs that someone has become a child of God (See also John 8:34-41)?


5. God adopted you unconditionally. Resting in His love, how can you show your gratefulness to your Heavenly Father? What can you change in your life for that to be more obvious to Him (and to you)?
