1. Read Hebrews 13:20-21. Briefly identify each phrase in the closing benediction.

2. Verse 20 declares God is “the God of peace”. What does that mean? (See also Isaiah 26:3, Proverbs 18:10, and 2 Thessalonians 3:16.) Describe a difficult time or season in your life when you experienced God in this way.

3. How is Jesus both our shepherd and our sacrifice?

4. In what ways do you need to more fully rely on the blood of Jesus rather than your performance?

5. How does the Lord equip believers to do His will? (See also Ephesians 6:11-17 and 1 Corinthians 12:4-7.)

6. What does it mean that He is ‘working in us’? (See also Joshua 1:9, Matthew 28:18-20, and Matthew 10:19-20.) What comfort does this truth bring you?

7. Reflect on what you have learned in the book of Hebrews, and where you have grown. Have you been applying the lessons you have learned? Which areas do you still need work on?
